Crazy for Quadrille

Quadrille fabrics are everywhere, why?!?  Because they are gorgeous.  Fortunately I had the opportunity to work with their fabrics recently and I'm a big fan.  They are fun, casual, natural, and stand the test of time.  Designs can be traditional, contemporary, ethnic, and even what I'd call "surfer or beach chic".   They also come in wallpaper.   Below is my recent work with these fabrics followed by some magazine photos with the same design.
Here is their Potalla in my client's master bedroom...

Here it is on the cover of Southern Living Before and Afters 2010 magazine.

Here are some other pics of Potalla...

Hooked on Rugs

On a recent trip to the Washington Design Center my sister-in-law noticed a hooked rug in the Brunschwig Fils showroom and I became an instant fan.  The New England Collection has some beautiful patterns that range from traditional to contemporary but all with a homespun feel.  These rugs are handmade and use natural dyes.  Trust me these are not your grandmothers' rugs!  Here are some of my favorites...
